Announcing Our Weekly Curated Newsletters

It is almost November, and we are in the midst of Halloween and the sales that come with it. On my end, I have been reading up on curated newsletters and feasibility of running such newsletters for the WordPress and Lifetime Deals community. While there is no lack of Digital Marketing newsletters or newsletters focused on mainly WordPress, at WPStarters, we sit in the interesting and narrow niche of both WordPress and lifetime deals.

While we cover some digital marketing tools, the focus will be always be on tools that we use here at Rev Code Enterprise to deliver projects for clients. Thus, this includes SEO, SEM, Chatbots and CRO tools. Eventually this list will expand as we grow our team and take on more projects.

If you’ve been following this blog, you will know that we have been MailPoet since March 2020. MailPoet had an amazing deal on AppSumo and we stacked it to the max after doing a comprehensive MailPoet review.

But the Curated deal on the Lifetime Tech Deals Group (LTDF) hit home like a hammer. While it doesn’t have the email marketing automation that traditional email marketing providers like MailChimp, Moosend and MailPoet has, it comes with its set of strengths.

At $49 for 2,000 subscribers and the ability to stack 30 times for a total of 60,000 subscribers for life, Curated was a deal we could not ignore. And for days, I read through the numerous comments on the LTDF group, asked questions, looked at videos on Curated and read multiple reviews on prominent curated newsletter apps, including Revue, Substack and Gootbits. All that amidst working on projects and tight timelines.

In the end, it is what Curated brings that makes us move our newsletters over. The ability to easily create curated newsletters, manage sponsors and the possibility of running a paid subscription newsletter in the midst of our free newletter, tilted us over. Furthermore, the searchable newsletter archive which is neatly arranged based on issues helps readers as well as search engines, giving us long term SEO benefits.

We will be sending out an email shortly to inform our current newsletter subscribers that we are moving over to Curated at the WPStarters Weekly page. If you are a current subscriber of our mailing list with MailPoet, your email will be migrated over to Curated’s system as our mailing lists are fresh and we have been emailing at least once per month. If you do not wish to move over, just drop us an email or click unsubscribe when the new newsletter arrives.

See you soon!
